Do you get access to my pictures?
No. Truepic’s Display library reads, verifies, and displays authentic data locally. The photos and videos do not leave your site or product.

Will this be open sourced?
Truepic’s Display library is not open sourced today. For an open-source, C2PA-compliant library, we recommend CAI’s library here.

I don’t see any authentic data on the sample files. How come?
Certain products or software don’t yet recognize and preserve authentic data. We recommend zipping files if you are sharing with communication tools like Slack or other messaging platforms.

Do I need Truepics or does Display work with other forms of data too?
Truepic Display is a C2PA-compliant verification and display library, which will be interoperable with other products and software that implement the standard.

I see a use case, piece of data, or file type that is not supported, how come?
As an initial release, certain use cases and functions are not supported at this time. We will continue to enhance Display’s functionality to support additional media types and methods for viewing important data specified by C2PA.
